To My New Neighborhood,
Hi, my name is David Dean and I am the Operating Partner of the Coosaw Creek Crab Shack. You can’t miss us - it’s the big crab-orange building on Dorchester Road. In addition to joining the Crab Shack family 4 years ago, I have had the pleasure of becoming part of an even larger family – the Coosaw neighborhood. The many loyal guests that I see all the time confirm my belief that I am part of something larger than just running a business.
“Good things do come to those who wait” is a great idiom that’s come true for me. I’ve worked in restaurant management for 30 years and the chance to be a partner in a successful venture was an opportunity handed to me by Dan Doyle and Ryan Condon. I appreciate the trust and the faith that my partners have in me to run a successful operation. With family support from my wife Donna, and my two teenage children, Kaitlin and Michael, I look forward to a long tenure with my new business family.
Many heart-felt thanks to both the locals and to my team members for making Coosaw Creek a fun and friendly place to call “my second home.” My vision for Coosaw is to make sure that every person walking in my store gets treated as family. Remember, when you come here for the first or thirty-first time, “there are no strangers here, only friends you haven’t met!”
